What is the date and time of the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is on Friday June 20th 2025. Please arrive at 4:30, with dinner starting at 5:00. We are doing things a little backwards, starting with dinner and then the actual wedding ceremony will start at 7:15 PM.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Sorry, no pets allowed. No dogs, please leave your furry friends at home.

What is the address of the venue?

The address was listed on your invitation. Please text Rachel directly for the address if you still need it.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Business casual to formal, but really whatever you're comfortable in and dress for the weather. If the weather is nice the ceremony will be outside in the grass so high heels may not be comfortable.

I'm coming from out of town, do I need to bring a potluck dish?

Answer

Please don't feel like you have to bring a potluck dish if you are flying in, we will have plenty of food. Or just grab something easy like a bag of chips or some pre-made deli salads. We will have some extra serving bowls.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is lots of parking and several ADA parking spots, make sure to save these for wheel chair access. Most of the parking lot is gravel so be aware of scuffing your nice shoes. All vehicles need to be off the property by 10:30 PM.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

YES!!! Yes, please take lots and lots of pictures. Our hashtag is #mendoza-webb and we will have also have a QR code at the wedding for you all to upload photos to our Google Drive. Please make sure your phones are silenced during the event, especially the ceremony. No pings, rings, and other phone sounds please. Also please turn your flash off for ceremony photos.

Are gifts necessary?

Answer

No, not at all! Your presence is the best present of all. We would definitely prefer you bring a potluck item over a gift.

Can I bring a friend?

Answer

Yes, but seating is limited so we need a head count for tables. Please let us know who is coming by June 1st.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have some wine and beer available. If you want to bring your own alcoholic beverage, you must have the licensed bartender serve all alcoholic drinks. We will also provide a champagne toast after the ceremony.

Will there be a coffee service?

Answer

Unfortunately no, We won't have a coffee service set up for dessert but you're always welcome to bring your own caffeinated beverages.

Are there places to stay near the venue?

Answer

Not really, the venue is out in the country. The closest town is Canby, but they only have a Motel 6. The Portland Airport is 45 minutes north of the venue. If you are flying in or driving from the north, try hotels in SE Portland, Clackamas, or Oregon City. If you are driving in from the south try hotels or Airbnb in Wilsonville or Silverton. Silverton has the Oregon Gardens Lodge which is about 30 minutes southwest of the venue. Wilsonville has some nicer hotels near I-5, about 15 minutes west of the venue.

Is the ceremony still going to be outside if it rains?

Answer

Kind of?? Matthew and Rachel will be standing just outside the barn doors on the patio in the rain, but we will set up the guest's chairs under cover just inside the barn doors. Dress appropriately for the weather. We have 4 propane patio heaters, but with the barn doors open it may still be only 60 degrees in the barn. If the sun does come out then we may still have the ceremony outside and the grass may be wet.

Will there be dessert?

Yes, guests are bringing desserts. Plus after the ceremony we will have cookies and cupcakes when we cut the cake.
