We're getting married!

We first noticed each other at church on Christmas Day, 2022. We never spoke, but our paths crossed often — long enough for quiet glances and shy smiles in passing. Meanwhile, Jared’s niece, who Elizabeth often babysat, had her own matchmaking plan. She told both of us exactly who she thought we should marry… and as it turns out, she was right. Nearly two years later, in August 2024, Jared sent Elizabeth a simple late birthday message — and then went quiet. But in early September, Elizabeth reached out to ask how he was enjoying volunteering in student ministry. What started as a quick question became an ongoing conversation that neither of us wanted to end. Our first date was on September 14, 2024, and by September 27, we knew this was something special. From the very beginning, we’ve shared more than just ministry. We love Jesus with all our hearts, we cheer on our sweet friends at every game we can, we get competitive (in the best way) over video games, and we binge-watch shows together like pros. Over time, these shared passions turned into a love that feels like home. On July 13, 2025, Jared asked Elizabeth to marry him — and saying yes was the best decision she has ever made. What started with quiet glances has grown into a lifetime of love, laughter, and purpose, and we can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by the people we love most.
