Both Collin and Rachel grew up in the same school district, both moving around somewhat frequently they eventually met each other through mutual friends groups in their junior year of high school. From there, they started dating in the summer and started their senior year together. Rachel had always had big dreams of moving to Maine to pursue her dream school and degree in Marine Biology. Having been upfront about this dream from the beginning, and finally turning dreams into reality when she was accepted into the University of Maine, who was Collin to not follow her? The two of them moved to Maine after graduating high school, all by themselves. Collin started working full time and Rachel was a full time student. In November of 2023, they received an exciting addition to their plans! Theodore Weathers was born July 16th, 2024. Rachel stayed in school while pregnant and even switched to online courses after Theo was born. Rachel eventually became a full time stay at home mom while Collin continued to work. Collin proposed to Rachel in October of 2024 at a nearby park they frequently visited. He had gotten Rachel’s family’s blessing in the earlier spring, and was given a family ring. Rachel, obviously, said yes! During the beginning of their wedding planning process they realized how much their plans had evolved and decided it was time to move back home. Putting off the wedding for a few months, they moved back home and have started the process on closing on their forever home. Adding a furry friend to the addition of their family and raising a feral Theodore, they’ve been quite busy! Now they’ve finally picked a date to celebrate their union!
