Our Wedding Party

Meet the special people in our lives who help make this day possible.

Ulysses Grady III

Best Man

The Life of the Party-----Ubby This is Paul's brother/best man. They have been through literally everything together ranging from diapers to endless hours of playing video games, to YMCA summer camps. Paul couldn't imagine anyone else standing by his side on his wedding day. Ubby and Paul have always been more like brother's than cousins due to the bond and connection they share. The reason Ubby was chosen as best man was because he is always dependable and would give his last dollar for anyone he cares about. Ubby has been there to support is dear brother/cousin through all of his most memorable moments and nothing changes in watching Paul say I do.

Dr. Michelle Latortue

Maid of Honor

Dr. Michelle Latortue is my half sister as well as my first cousin (since our mothers are twins)! So, of course, we have known each other our entire lives. Even after 30 years, we still crack up laughing at the same jokes and memories from when we were in elementary school. She is someone who has always shown me the importance of staying calm and light. She is endlessly hardworking, intelligent, hilarious, and fun. I am so grateful to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Marquise Blair

Best Man

Marquise has been like a brother to Paul during his most memorable moments. I can't imagine life without his "little/big" brother. The relationship was built when a family relative passed away and a bond and electric connection was immediately felt. We discuss everything from politics, sports, and life goals. Marquise is also an avid Bucs fan, and for that I am very appreciative of. Marquise also is caring, fun, loving and loves the entire Sheehy family. "Quise" may not be a Sheehy by last name but he carries the name with his heart. He is someone who is always interested in learning different options on different topics and is always open to new ideas. Marquise is always present during a time of need, whether its a phone call to celebrate or a friend to call on.

Daylnn Gammons

Bridesmaid

Dalynn Gammons is my dear cousin who I have proudly watched grow up my entire life. Dalynn is very independent, and has been working and planning for what she wants ever since she was a young teenager. In addition to being hard working, she is someone you will always see smiling and laughing in any space. She is the most inquisitive, clever and observant person I know. My favorite thing about her is how clearly and openly she loves her family and spending time with them.

Obed Calixte

Groomsman

Obed and Paul met one weekend at University of Florida Gainesville. We hit things off immediately and always had similar interest ranging from cars, sports and even finances. I attribute a portion of my financial literacy today to Obed because I remember he introduced to the Robinhood (trading application) during a time where day trading on mobile phones were not as popular as they are today. He and I had the opportunity to visit DC/Baltimore and attended the Preakness festival. This week/weekend was one of the funnest times spent in my life, filled with laughs and endless excitement. Obed is someone who can be quiet and reserved, but is always listening to find value in the words you say. In addition, he loves people, loves a great laugh and is always good vibes.

Chelsey Dennis

Bridesmaid

Chelsey and I met in Spanish class while we were Sophomores at USF 11 years ago. Since then, we have had more adventures than I can count. Chelsey is someone I can always count on to bring fun and creativity to any scenario (it is truly amazing)! I am so fortunate to have a best friend who loves traveling, trying "cute" cocktails, strolling through Norwegian graveyards, trying new things (especially food), and finding the humor in everything with me.

Alexandra Cortez

Bridesmaid

Alex is a literal ray of sunshine. She is always looking on the bright side of things, even when it seems impossible. Alex and Chelsey grew up together, and shortly after I graduated college, she became a staple in my life as well. Over the years she has provided me with unlimited amounts of motivation, support, strength, encouragement, and love. We are integral in one another's walk in Christ and love talking about the Bible and how it is applicable to our lives. Alex also teaches me through her own actions to be more patient, kind, forgiving and calm just like her.

Adrian Jones

Groomsman

We shared time on the basketball court originally. Who ever thought that running pickup games would turn into a life long friendship. We both are avid Tampa Bay buccaneer fans. Adrian is a converted eagles fan and now sees the light. We have both been there for each other during tough and great times. Adrian has always been a great friend to Paul and like Paul is always about having a good time.

Dessi Sevdina

Bridesmaid

I met Dessi a couple months after I moved to Florida when I was 14 years old, so I have known her over half of my life. Dessi is my best friend and an incredibly rare person. It is inspiring just to know her, because she is so good at doing exactly what she says she is going to do. Just observing her and her successes has motivated me countless times to establish and accomplish goals of my own. Dessi has always inspired me to be unafraid, independent, and to never accept an unwanted "no". She reminds me that I can do anything.

David Taylor

Groomsman

David and Paul meet Freshman year of High School. Our relationship developed as we would progress through High School we always looked out for each other. We continued our relationship in College, while I went to Morehouse I was able to come visit David in Gainesville during weekends from time to time. David is a fun caring, loving guy who loves to laugh and have a good time. He is one of the most humble and appreciative people I know. David cherishes each moment spent and is never afraid to express his appreciation. I always think back to Freshman year basketball and Dave would always prefer to run his play or not do what coach would say.... Lets just say dave had to run a lot of wind sprints by himself (haha) Well Dave I am excited for you to walk with me on this new journey of my life.

Stephanie Oula

Bridesmaid

Stephanie is one of the very first friends I made when I moved to Florida in 2005. We lived around the corner from one another all through high school, and spent hundreds of weekday afternoons eating strange snacks (potato chips and apple jelly), and taking naps on the old couch in my parents' bonus room. Stephanie has shaped so much of my taste and introduced me to so many of my interests. She is my best friend, and has helped me navigate so many stages in my life. I am blessed to have her.

Chris Cheetham-West

Groomsman

Chris and I met when my cousin Alyssa brought Chris down to introduce him to our family around the summer. During that summer we spent time hitting the beach and I was able to show them what this Florida lifestyle was all about. Chris and Paul hit things off instantly in understanding we both loved good music and a good time. Chris and Paul share a lot of music with each other, especially the up and coming underground rappers that we feel we discovered by ourselves. I chose Chris as a groomsman because he is a dear friend and cousin of mine, while also being a great husband to my dear Cousin Alyssa. I had the honor of serving as one of his groomsman when he got a married. The most memorable moment of that weekend in Miami was the most epic freestyle ever dropped in that Uber ride.

Vania Walters

Bridesmaid

Vania and I met in 2014, and I knew immediately that I could talk to her forever! She is so insightful, and we share so many of the same values, perspectives, beliefs and wants. My days with Vania are always filled with laughter, good food, good coffee, a workout (followed by mimosas), or re-watching the first Sex and the City movie for the 50th time and discussing the character flaws. My life is a better place with Vania in it, and in a short amount of time became entirely unimaginable without her. the only thing that could make this friendship better would be more time in Key West, of course.

Wayne "AJ" Anthony Quin Jr.

Groomsman

-Lil Bro. I met Wayne when he was born. He is my little cousin and little brother. Our hobbies shared are football and music. I can always go to AJ to find out who the most popping artist is. Wayne is the finest young man I know and I am very proud to call him a little brother of mine. He is always showing me who the new musical artist out "especially for us old folks" Ha. I am proud to have him represent with me on this Turnt up occasion. "Did I say that right AJ?" I am excited to have him with me representing Team Groooomssssquaaad with me.

Anita DiGiacomo Esq.

Bridesmaid

Anita and I met in 2013 while working at the same law firm shortly after I graduated college. Anita had recently passed the Florida bar exam, and was just beginning her career as a Trial Attorney. Oddly enough, Anita and I had met briefly at a networking event about 6 months prior to us ending up at the same job together, and I never forgot Anita's vivacious personality and presence. Anita and I worked alongside one another until I left Tampa to attend graduate school in Boca Raton in 2014. Even once I moved, Anita regularly came to visit and keep me company. Anita is not only one of the best friends I have ever had, but also my mentor who has been key in my career advancement. Anita is also an amazing cook, decorator, and hostess who is always teaching me something new.

Naim Mitchell

Groomsman

We meet in at Morehouse College. Our relationship developed during hours of playing video games (madden to be specific). We still to this date cannot figure out who had the best overall record. Paul says the record is 200-100 and Naim says 300-100. We both transitioned into Morehouse around the same time, however Naim transferred in the following semester year Freshman year. We spent time hitting the books, chasing women, hosting parties and having nights that never can be repeated. Naim is all about the jokes and love talking trash in everything. However, at the root he is a fun loving guy who only wants the best for all those around him.
