We met, working at Lowe’s together. Our first real conversation was him walking up to me my second week there and politely asking if I could please use a “Lowes safe ladder”. The safety team was in the store and I was standing on a Lowes blue bucket. (Definitely NOT a Lowes safe ladder) Of course, I obliged immediately. He advised he didn’t want the store to get into trouble, and he was so sorry he had to ask that of me. I told him it was no big deal, I should have been following the rules anyway. After that, almost every morning we would talk. It started with just a couple of minutes here and there and then they progressed to 15-20 minutes. One day he wasn't at work, then another day with him not being there and then another. I started to worry that something was wrong. I hadn't seen him but no one said anything had happened to him. Then at a morning huddle they had mentioned that he was on vacation...I thought to myself I was going to kill him for not telling me and for making me worry like that. In that moment, I knew I had feelings for him...When he got back to work, I sure gave him an earful lol. He was getting ready to transfer over to Merchandising as our new ASM, so I took that opportunity to give him my number. He was going to be my boss, so we needed to have each others numbers to be in contact. He waited ALL DAY to text me. But when he finally did, the rest was history. The next morning I asked him out on our first of many dates. We went to breakfast at The Paper Mill in Mount Juliet. From there we have embarked on so many different kinds of adventures. New York was our first. Little did we know that traveling would be our greatest adventure together other than spending our lives together. Now we are getting married and we can't wait for you to share in the excitement and joy. We hope this day will be fun and exciting for you and thank you for wanting to be a part of it. May 16 we say "I do" and that's when the real story begins.
