FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP on the RSVP tab on the menu at the top of the screen. Please RSVP by September 1st.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes -- we would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is formal/black-tie optional: tuxedos or dark suits for men and long gowns or dressy midi/cocktail dresses for women are welcome.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors on grass by the live oak tree. Ladies -- please keep this in mind for your shoe selection! The cocktail hour and reception that follow will be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive at 5:30PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM -- we'd love for everyone to be seated a few minutes before the ceremony starts.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

To access the property, please turn at the stop sign at N Post Oak Lane. Make your way down the driveway, towards the gatehouse and you will be directed left towards the hotel. Upon arrival to The Houstonian, you have the option of parking with valet for $25 or complimentary self-parking in the parking garage. The self-parking garage is located down the hill and to the right, just past the hotel entrance. Valet is located at the front of the hotel.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If you know us, you know we love the kiddos! However, our wedding is (for the most part) an adult-only affair. Unless your invitation specifically names your children, please grab a sitter and enjoy a date night out with us!
