We're Getting Married!

Our story dates back ten years ago in middle school. We started off not even noticing each other, and then something changed when we were seated together in pre-algebra class. What started out as a simple friendship, changed into a strong bond that carried us throughout the rest of such a difficult and developing time of our lives. We lost touch throughout the rest of our high school years but always felt tied to each other with an invisible red string. It wasn't until college, when we reconnected over the phone. One of us was utterly hopeless with calculus and the other was there with all the knowledge. Of course, between all the talk about calculus, we found ways to learn more about each other. The time that stood between us instantly faded away again as we gained more understanding of each other and all that had changed since that last time we were together. It was mid 2023 where we began to speak for the last time that would lead to a conversation that would never end. Our love for the Lord, food, music, and our hopes, dreams, and fears bonded us in a way that was difficult to do with people our age. From the moment that we began to see each other in person, we knew that God had us both in the same season at the same time for the first time in both of our lives and we knew that we had to make this connection last forever. Love carried us through so many seasons of our lives and has kept us grounded to each other after every time. Our connection has remained steadfast in a world that is constantly changing. Dr. Brand from Interstellar, said it best, "Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space."
