We met like most millennial couples.. online! After chatting through bumble and then Snapchat, Matt drunkenly asked Sammi out on a date. She drunkenly replied yes. We could end the story here with a "the rest is history", but where is the fun in that. So, we decided to go out on that date. Matt drove the whole hour out to see Sammi and she was.. running late. Though, if you really know us, you know that's usual. We met behind the student union building and ventured out to a local coffee shop, which happened to be closed. So, we repeated that step three times before ending up at starbucks. We spent the rest of the night (until close) at that table in the frosty air pretend sipping our drinks so that we didn't have to go home. Fast forward a week and we made it official, so we did what any college students would do and went to a frat party. Sammi got Matt a little drunk, and in his state he told her he loved her and that he was going to marry her. Of course we laughed that off for months. However, time would tell him right. So now we are coming at you a while later, with two apartments, many drunken nights, two "graduations", one pandemic, one shutdown and two hearts that have become one under our belt. It is safe to say that these times have made sure we are ready for our wedding. We cannot wait and we sincerely hope to see you there.
