It all started at Valdosta State University in 2002. He knew she was the one and she didn't believe he was serious. He practically threw himself at her over 15 years ago and it took all these years for her to come around.

The couple hadn't been back to where their story began in YEARS so they collectively decided to go to Valdosta States homecoming. It was also on Jeremy's birthday. Christi decided to surprise him with a VIP section at the big homecoming party. Unbeknownst to her he was also planning a surprise. Jeremy was telling his friends he was going to propose to Christi at the homecoming party. Christi was telling these same set of friends that she was surprising Jeremy for his birthday. Well as the couple was packing for their 3 hour drive to Valdosta Jeremy got on one knee and asked Christi for her hand in marriage. Well Jeremy didn't stick to his plan because the ring was burning a hole in his pocket. At the end of the night the VIP section turned into a double celebration, his birthday and their engagement.

Sooo what had happened was...#WeAreFarmers became official on March 3, 2019. The original day to celebrate their love for each other in front of everyone was in July in hot Las Vegas. Mr. Farmer came home for a thirty day leave and left some Christmas presents that also included a new addition to the Farmer household. Their new little bundle of joy arrived on September 16th of 2020. Although this is amazing news it didn't work so well being 7 months pregnant and having a wedding in the desert sun. Now the Farmers are celebrating their union in front of family and friends a little closer to home after the arrival of Mila Janise Farmer.
