Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is the easiest option and only about 10 minutes from downtown. Los Angeles (LAX) is about 90 minutes away and often has more flight options if you need them. There is an incredible train called the Pacific Surfliner which runs between LA and Santa Barbara that is also a great option!
Pretty much perfect. Expect warm sunny days and cool evenings - bring a light layer for after the sun goes down.
Chic (duh). Think festive and polished - more elevated than cocktail, less formal than black tie. Dressed to celebrate - wear your best shoes, y'all!
