Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at The River Café. No need to travel between the festivities. The River Café is a world-famous restaurant tucked along the East River beneath the Brooklyn Bridge in the beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood of DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). With views of the Manhattan skyline and even the Statue of Liberty, it is considered the most romantic restaurant in New York City. The restaurant opened in 1977 and still maintains the old New York charm, which is exactly why we chose it for this momentous occasion.
Sex and the City meets New York City chic—however you interpret that! This wedding is designed to feel like a classic New York movie party, so dress to impress, dance all night, and take lots of pics. No kids or plus ones unless indicated on your invitation. Unfortunately, The River Café is a small, intimate venue, and we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend.
Unfortunately, The River Café cannot accommodate parking for wedding guests. If you are driving, there are garages and street parking around the venue.
By subway, the closest MTA stops are: York St - F train; 6 minute walk High St - A, C train; 6 minute walk Clark St - 2, 3 train; 12-14 minute walk THE FERRY! The venue is right next to the ferry station! You can take the NYC ferry directly to the venue and enjoy scenic NYC water views as you do! The River Cafe is right at the DUMBO/Fulton Ferry stop.
