WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

In March 2017, during a road trip from my home in Atlanta to Connecticut, my cousin and Maid of Honor Crystal said she’d like to introduce me to her good friend of 12 years named Wayne. Both Wayne and I had been single for a while and did not have interests in pursuing relationships, let alone committing to a long-term partnership. But God had another plan for us. When I arrived in Connecticut, to my surprise Crystal arranged for us to meet up for drinks. Later that evening when we gathered, the only thing she said was… Andrea this is Wayne and Wayne, this is my cousin Andrea. My heart started beating really fast and I tried so hard to be calm and relaxed, but I was nervous. During my visit to Connecticut, I was pleasantly surprised as Wayne would stop by my cousin’s home to visit me. Over the next few days as I prepared to go back to Atlanta, Wayne asked when could he see me again, and I answered, “I can come back in two weeks"! Little did I know that I would fly to Connecticut to see him every two weeks for the first year of our relationship, and the rest is history. ❤️ Wayne’s Comment: “Over the years people asked if I would ever get married. I took my time and didn't rush because I knew divorce was never an option for me. My prayer was to get married one time to the wife God had for me.” Andrea’s Comment: Back in 2012 during prayer, God told me that at His appointed time, He would send my husband and ordain our marriage. Wayne is my gift, and God has been so good to us. We will continue to honor Him in our marriage.
