READY FOR FOREVER!

Wayne and Sydney met in Fayetteville, Arkansas in January of 2021. They were first introduced through Wayne's childhood friends, Lauren and Kaitlyn. Conveniently, Sydney lived right down the hall from them in the Kappa Delta house. One night when Wayne and his friends went bowling, they invited Kaitlyn and Lauren who then invited Sydney. After that night, Sydney and Wayne began talking to each other and slowly became close friends over the year. It was not until late November of 2022 that Sydney and Wayne went on their first date at Smitty's Garage. They officially started dating on December 10, 2022. Throughout the years, they have done many things together and accomplished many achievements alongside each other. They have been to Mexico and the Dominican Republic together, gone to many Razorback and KU games, as well as a lot of time with family and friends. Sydney recently graduated with her bachelors degree while Wayne passed his journeymans exam all in the same summer. On August 4, 2024, Wayne proposed to Sydney at Sassafrass Springs Vineyard surrounded by their family and friends. They now live in Fayetteville preparing for the wedding while Sydney finishes her master's degree and Wayne continues his working with Pinnacle Plumbing. After the wedding, they plan to live in Fayetteville. Sydney will become a teacher in the area while Wayne continues his plumbing career in hopes of one day opening his own company.
