This was how the flowers came to us. Thanks to Lena, who found the website solawood flowers, we were able to save SO much money on flowers!

Mom and I did a trial run with the first set of flowers, but it turned out we didn't need to because it was super easy to do!

This is Lena's bouquet; we still need to fix the handle so that it looks pretty but otherwise, it's finished! Super easy to do, too!

As with Lena's bouquet, my own still needs some work, but I'm very pleased with the way it turned out!

Wayne and I were lucky enough to have his dad, Dave, come down for a visit and spend time with us as we sampled the food from the caterers. With his help, we were able to determine a menu!

We were fortunate enough to take a trip out to Peoria recently to discuss hotel rooms and cake options. Here we are, filled with success, after finalizing some rooms to book for the big night :D

Mom, Mama Shari, Lena, and I all went on a trip to David's Bridal to get a wedding and bridesmaid dress. SUCCESS!!!!

Martha from Trefzger's Bakery, Wayne and I were able to finalize a wedding cake. We're super excited to see what the real thing looks like!
