Black Diamond Cemetery
Established in 1884 by the Black Diamond Coal Mining Company as both a company and community cemetery, you can find 1,200 graves here. It's also considered one of the most haunted places in Washington state.
Franklin Ghost Town
If you're interested in nature and history, you're in luck here! "It’s an easy walk up to the coal cart and sealed mine shaft. Follow the narrow footpath beyond to discover the powerhouse foundation and cemetery. In the 1880’s, fueled by coal mining activity in the area, the town of Franklin was born."
