Wayne and Helen’s story began in 1983, when two young hearts crossed paths during their senior year at DeLand High School. Life carried them forward—into new chapters, new adventures, and families of their own. Years later, in 2012, their paths briefly crossed again as their children attended the same high school. It was a simple, passing moment in life—a friendly hello and a reminder of shared roots—before they each continued on their own journeys. In January 2025, life brought them together once more, this time in the most meaningful way. Both single and open to what the future might hold, they reconnected and decided to meet again—two familiar faces discovering just how much time had quietly shaped them.
