Born during the Great Depression, Pittsburgh's cookie table tradition began when families — mothers, grandmothers, and aunts — banded together to bake cherished recipes in place of a wedding cake. A community labor of love that's been sweetening Pittsburgh weddings ever since. Please bring your family's favorite cookies to share at our reception. Include a small card with the recipe name and your family's name. We can't wait to taste a little piece of everyone's family at our celebration.
