John and Casey will be staying at John’s family’s property near the reception venue and camping. It will likely be a bit of a louder scene, but anyone is welcome to camp! Please text Casey or John for the address to John's family's property if you plan to camp there on Friday and/or Saturday night. There is also a quiet camp at Casey’s family’s property (ceremony location) if you’d prefer a quieter space. In addition, there are several hotels and campgrounds within 20 miles of the reception.
Yes.
If weather permits, both with be outdoors. If weather is a problem during the ceremony, we will provide umbrellas and the ceremony will be held in the barn and on the lawn . The reception venue has a pavilion and a hall, so if it’s rainy we will have shelter. You’ll be walking on the grass for most of the day/night—keep this in mind!
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures in Onaway for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception where we will be serving finger foods and beverages prior to dinner when the wedding party arrives. It’s about a 25-30 minute drive to the reception.
Casey’s family’s “up north” is the ceremony location and John’s family‘s “up north” is quite close to the reception location.
