Alex and Stephanie attended the same elementary, middle and high school together, only one year apart. Miraculously, they never truly crossed paths until they were freshman (Stephanie) and sophomore (Alex) in high school, when they first met through mutual friends. Stephanie shoot her shot and texted Alex one day, in which Alex responded with “why are you texting me” and it was love ever since!! Just kidding! They started talking more frequently and over winter break they had a double date at David’s house (MVP). After this date, Alex and Stephanie started talking more, went on their first date to the movies <3, and on April 15, 2010 they “officially” began dating. Dating in high school was truly special because they got to experience all of their awkward stages together. We made some, not so good choices, like sneaking out (Sorry to Steph’s, Alex’s, and David’s parents). Young, dumb, and naive, they had no idea of what this young love romance would soon blossom into. Their relationship had many twists and turns, as it does when your 15-16 years old, but it soon became apparent that they wanted to be together forever. They went from dating in high school, to long distance in college, and then long distance again when Alex moved to Chicago in Summer 2017. Stephanie moved to Chicago summer 2018 after finishing college, when they got their first apartment together. Alex proposed in Waikiki, Hawaii September, 22, 2019. Alex had a surprise dinner set up by the beach. We went for a walk on the beach before dinner, where we stopped for picture. Thats when he got down on one knee with a secret photographer planned to capture the entire moment. It was truly perfect. Now onto our next step. TO GET MARRIED!! We are so excited to experience this truly magical day with you all!
