We met in high school. I met Jack through one of our mutual friends. The second I laid my eyes on him I knew he was the one. After many texts, facetimes, lunch table talks, I told Jack how I feel, only for him to friend zone me. I was heartbroken, so I had to move on. Fortunately for me, the second I “seemed’ like I moved on, Jack came running back. He took me to get milkshakes and see the Sharonville lights. As he dropped me off at my house I sat in his car waiting for my kiss only for Jack to say “I don't kiss on the first date”. Two weeks later Jack invited me over to watch the ball drop, he had sparkling cider and wine glasses set up for us. We watched the ball drop, I got my kiss, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. The rest is history…

For the longest time I wanted to propose on the day of my graduation from college. I even told her mother the plan after she told me to propose during our upcoming family vacation. This was the first time I've been on vacation with them and I knew deep down that it was the right time. The only problem was that I wanted to have the proposal come as some sort of surprise. But after spending the day with my mom and my sister I realized it was now or never and now that everyone thought it was coming at a later date I could finally give my future wife her surprise. The only one that knew of course was her father Bruce. The whole vacation I tried to find the perfect time to ask and I was cutting it a little close but then it hit me... the Ferris wheel. If you know me I have a pretty bad fear of heights but I couldn't deny that it was perfect, we got to have an intimate moment with a beautiful view. I had a speech written down but I had trouble taking my eyes off of her when I spoke it. She said yes and my fear of heights seemed nonexistent for the remainder of the ride. Up to this point it was the happiest day of my life. It was a vacation/day I will never forget.
