Safety Plan

As we're sure you know, we're in the midst of a pandemic, and despite our hopes and wishes it doesn't seem like we'll been anywhere near out of the woods by our special day. Here are a few of the things we're going to be doing as a group to make sure we all stay safe and healthy as we celebrate.
Question

Will we be wearing masks?

Answer

Yes, we would like for all guests to wear masks whenever possible. We will be providing cloth masks at the venue that do fit over N95/surgical masks.

Question

Will we be indoors together?

Answer

No, the venue is an amazing garden, and so the entire day will be spent in the fresh air. Additionally, the gathering, ceremony, and dining areas all have a capacity for many more guests than will be in attendance, so physical distancing will be easy to maintain.

Question

Should I quarantine before traveling to Big Sur?

Answer

Yes. We ask that all guests do their best to quarantine for 2 weeks prior to traveling to the wedding to make sure we are all as safe as possible.

Question

Should I get a COVID-19 test before coming to the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We ask that all guests get a test prior to traveling to the wedding and that if you do happen to receive a positive result, you stay at home. We would miss you of course, but want to ensure the safety of all guests.

Question

What other safety measures are you taking?

Answer

We will have hand sanitizer available at the venue and will have a contactless thermometer to double-check onsite. If you are able, we do ask that you check your temperature day of as well to minimize contact if you do have a fever.

For all the days along the way
