Monarch Market is about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. It's a large upscale food court with a diverse selection of food vendors and a big bar! Great place to grab a quick bite or drink and sit inside or outside!
Optimist Hall is a converted textile mill turned into one of Charlotte's best food halls. It's got a great mix of local food vendors, bars, coffee shops, and a few cute boutiques.

The Rail Trail is a fun, busy, walkable path that runs alongside Charlotte's light rail, stretching through South End. Along the path, you'll find breweries, restaurants, coffee shops and more. A great place to start is Atherton Mill or Chapter 6 (where our welcome party will be located) they usually have street parking or public parking or nearby parking decks.

The Mint Museum Uptown is an art museum in the heart of Charlotte. It is walkable to a lot of bars, restaurants, and parks.
A scenic park to walk, especially this time of year, with the leaves changing! About 3 miles from Uptown.
A local 9 hole muni about 3 miles from uptown. A great value, fun, and walkable course. We recommend booking a tee time a week in advance.
