Will came to the states traveling solo and booked the upstairs unit at an Austin, TX Airbnb. Jill had a business trip and extended for hiking and exploring and booked a downstairs unit at an Austin, TX Airbnb. Upon Jill’s arrival, she discovered there was a gas leak downstairs! When the gas company arrived onsite, they confirmed the issue and needed to inspect the upstairs unit <insert RomCom music > and Will opened the door while he was talking on the phone! (He was talking to Smell, ignoring the calls and texts from the Airbnb host warning him about the issue!) Fast forward 2-3 hours, nonstop chatting and laughs, and many driveway beers, we became fast friends went on would now be known as our first date with beers, BBQ & live music! The next day, I offered to be his taxi service to the airport, we exchanged info and said ‘let’s keep in touch!’ We had no idea that day what would come of those four words, and the hours spent on the phone every single day since!
