These two hooligans...
Maid of Honor
I met Emily in 9th Grade English. Not sure how much we learned about literature BUT we found each other and that was enough!! We both love essential oils, bubbly drinks, cortados, and being rebels without a cause (oh wait that's just Em). Don't know where I'd be without her fierce love and friendship.
Best Man
Garrett is my best friend. He is the guy I used to go sledding with, had snowball fights as a kid together and the man who taught me how to enjoy each and every moment of life. Garrett taught me in college to truly grasp how amazing life is and to live it, just go for what is on your mind because there might not be another opportunity to do that. We started off as best friends and to this day living states away we still remain best friends... even if he still needs my help in fantasy football.
Maid of Honor
Emily and Liz met in college their freshman year, but didn't get to know each other very well until they moved in together sophomore year. Unsure of Emily at first, Liz realized her and Emily would be great friends after one tequila-filled night that ended in Liz having to separate Emily from a guy she was trying to show her new kickboxing moves to. Since then, they've enjoyed many years of friendship, wine and amazing memories.

We both became close during our time employed by Daigle gravel company. Also, we were cousins that grew up together in an amazingly crazy family that is close but mainly just crazy. Over the years we have grown closer, going through many things together. We attended the same college for several years and had a beer or 30 together, lived together for a summer of shenanigans, NHL games and are both members of an Elite club known as Doe League.

Emily and I met at a cookie contest pre Christmas party (hosted by Emily of course) in 2017. My (very new at the time) boyfriend was invited, and since I helped him make some gluten free cookies, he let me tag along. I like to think Emily and I hit it off right away, but honestly I can’t remember. A few months later we spent the weekend participating in an outdoor scavenger hunt which involved camping with several other girls, and driving a small bus in a blizzard. I think it’s safe to say that since surviving that weekend we’ve been as thick as thieves.

I suppose the true story is we are cousins. I might not have been that close to Garr when we were real young because there is a little bit of an age gap. However once we grew up our bond has become greater. Even though Garr is a couple hundred miles away and we don’t see each other a ton. Every time we do see each it’s like he never left, we always have a blast in whatever we are doing, harassing uncles, playing cards, fantasy football, a few beers… Anyways Garrett once described our relationship to a T. He stated “I’ve always felt like I have been a brother to Jacob, Jordan, and you. Except I just don’t have to deal with all the bad brotherly ordeals (actually said bullshit but I put into friendly words) but he gets to enjoy the best parts of having brothers!

Em and I actually met in 1999 through good ol’ MCSA club soccer in Manassas, Virginia. We were 8 year old soccer stars and rekindled our friendship once we got to High School. Our dads actually had to remind us (jokingly of course) that the reason why we were such good friends was because we were the only girls on the team who would want to pick daisies and make halo crowns while there was a game in play. These 10+ years of solid laughter, adventure, and growth are all owed to Emily being the only person who can easily convince me to say yes to pretty much anything with the one liner - “come on ash this will be so much fun, i promise.” I’m just happy she found yet another person to use the line on whom says yes just as much as I do. Cheers you two!

It was in 2012 when my bromance started with a Daigle. I had been talking to Brook in Spring 2012 before deciding to visit in May. Conveniently she had to work after I spent 12 hours of traveling so she had her bearded beauty of a brother pick me up in Wausau. Most prospective boyfriends don’t look forward to spending long car rides with the brother of the girl they are trying to date but alas we spent 45 minutes driving back to Tomahawk. Little did I know at this point that I would spend the majority of my week with him. Brook worked afternoon and nights at a bar while her brother took me to play basketball, soccer and hangout with his friends. I don’t think many brothers would do this for their sister’s maybe boyfriend. Sure I met my wife on this trip...but I also found a brother.

Emily and I met at the Elementary School we both taught at. She saw me at a staff meeting and asked if I wanted to get my nails done, and we clicked instantly. It was at a Caps game that made her download Tinder, the new dating app at the time, and that’s how she met Garrett! We were roommates when her and Gare started dating, and he joined our Quietree Drive family, flawlessly. Through their move to Colorado, Emily FaceTimes me (unannounced) way too often, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The laughs the three of us share will travel a lifetime.

I first met Garrett after Emily brought him home to meet the family. At first I was threatened by the strength of his beard but over time I grew to appreciate the strength of his character. He has impressed me with how much he cares for my sister as well as his vast knowledge of the Cosmere. I’m proud to call him my brother-in-law and look forward to the many nerdy years ahead.

Emily and I met many years ago in Reston, Virginia. My brother had just moved in with my husband and I. He was so excited to bring over this girl he had swiped right for. We were skeptical but as soon as she walked into our house in her cute brown boots holding a bouquet of lavender, I knew he had found a keeper. The next years were full of winery weekends, family holidays in Wisconsin, moves across the country and so much more. Emily is the favorite Aunt Em to our children and spoils them so much. We now live in New Mexico and are so thankful to be in driving distance to two people we love so much. Just a 6hour jaunt makes long weekends with family extra special. Can’t wait to celebrate their special day by their sides.

As each of our wedding party wrote their blurbs about how they know us, I wondered what we would do for AndyMan. For those who don't know him, Andy is my older cousin who has Downs-Syndrome. His happy go lucky attitude has always inspired me to find the joy in life, enjoy the moment and keep searching for the next best thing. My world is rich with Andy stories and it's always filled my heart. And for those of you who do know him, I'm sure he has filled yours as well.

I heard about Emily long before I met her. She was my brother Garrett’s new girlfriend from across the country, someone that gets him out of the house to do new activities in his new city. I’m sure we had countless FaceTimes before I was able to finally meet her in person. Emily has now become apart of our Daigle family, someone I get to look forward to planning vacations with, and someone that also gets me out of the house for new activities. It’s hard for me to remember a time without her in our family, and I don’t think I want to.

Well as far as Emily is concerned, you came into Jr Butler looking for a job, I went to the interview looking for a drinking buddy and the rest is history..... But for real, we met at Butler for a wild ride of work, shenanigans, scavenger hunts and great Christmas parties. I think we really became friends that day when we went around Denver starting at Recess Beer Gardens. As time went on, and after some very bored nights after work when I would just show up at your house to chill, I met Audi and thank god her and Emily became so tight. With our group camping and hanging out together we really grew close and I couldn't be happier, except when the girls make plans for us and we end up wearing the same shirt that they bought us.

Emily and I met freshman year of high school and fast forward 16 years, she remains one of my best friends! A true friend and an even better sidekick to navigate the mischievous adventures and awkward moments of the teenage years, the exciting college years, and the big life moments that young adulthood brings. The memories I have with Emily are countless and I can say the common theme of them all would be adventurous and fun. I am honored to be a part of Emily and Garretts big day and I will see you all on the dance floor!

From elementary school buddies, to captains of the B-Team, from high school hooligans to college roommates. We've had the cops called on us, too much tequila in Mexico, gone through failures and disappointments together, made mistakes and fought. But life also has taken us through two graduations, 3 houses and countless adventures. As life goes on so to does our friendship.

Emily and I have been friends since High School. There have been so many memories made, how can I just pick one? From homecomings to proms, highlighter parties in the basement of the Watson residence, random house parties, lake trips, beach trips, birthday dinners, and too many sleepovers to count. Shenanigans almost every weekend at JMU, so often to the point where people thought I actually attended the school. That then turned into wineries and brunches as we got older. Now, we are celebrating engagement parties and weddings together. Now to Em- it’s your turn, your wedding. I’m so excited to be standing by your side and adding yet another memory to the list!

I met Garrett on my first day of college at UWL, as he was my next door neighbor in Angell Hall. We had many memorable moments our freshman year ranging from going on my first ever beer run, playing football at Coate Field, dinners at Whitney, Halloween (oh what a night!), bluff hikes, house party hopping every weekend, playing Metal Slug/Hydro Thunder/Mario Kart, and so many more! We lived it up big the next three years in La Crosse whether we were spending time at the Dungeon, 1425 Vine, Beef, or the houses on State. One of my fondest memories of our friendship was doing the great Roommate Challenge for bedroom choice (Mario Kart and drinking champ here, I’ll give you sticks and ping pong). Now that you’re in Colorado we don’t see each other as often, but when we do we don’t miss a beat.

I first met Emily when I started dating her brother Jacob. I knew we would get along when she called Jacob a diva for all the stuff he was bringing to college, because I had been thinking the same thing. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her more and am proud to call her a sister-in-law and friend. I’m so excited and honored to stand by her as she marries Garrett!

I don't remember exactly when Garrett and I first crossed paths at UWL. It could have been Bio 105 where Garrett miraculously got an A, one of many Whitney feasts, or even Sunday morning basketball after a night of drinking. One thing I learned quickly though was Garrett had what every college freshman wants. An alcohol connection. It didn't take long for us to become friends after that. Over the 4 and a half years in college he went from my beer guy to one of best friends a guy could ask for
Flower Girl
Emily met Alaena Grace while helping out in nursery during Sunday School and it was instant adoration between the two of them. While Emily loved on Alaena as her nanny for 7 summers, Alaena taught Emily to always include everyone in hugs, dance moves and singing Taylor Swift. Thirteen years later, Alaena and her family mean the world to Emily.
Groomsman
I met Daigle ( His alias to avoid confusion with the other Garret(Glo) in our group) in college freshman year. He wore his hats backwards, rocked the beard less frequently, and ultimately brought our group of friends together constantly organizing get togethers like pickup football games and our living situation sophomore year. It worked out better than we both imagined, bonding as roommates through NHL games, Red Dog and Super Smash Bros. Till this day the man still holds the group together being the Commish of our fantasy football league and organizing our draft get togethers every year. Which reminds me, no Daigle I will not trade with you!
Flower Girl
This little stinker enjoys long runs around the furniture in her Elsa dress. Lets see if we can get her to toss some flower petals for her Unka & Em
