We're Getting Married!!

It took God leading me to apply for a job at Loma Linda. It didn't make sense. I just got a house in 2016 after a few years of a difficult season. I had my family, friends, I was comfortable. I applied, but there was still a way out. So I prayed for confirmation, a sign that will convince me this is the way He wants me to go. He gave a friend, another believer a dream. She asked me "Are you leaving us? I had a dream that you were leaving and that your time here was done. What does that mean?". I cried because I knew that was the sign I needed. It was scary, but God made a way. I was recommended, interviewed, offered the job, with relocation incentive and found a place in 7 days. That doesn't happen with federal jobs, but God. The next few months of 2017 was readjusting to a new life. I had an adopted family. I was alone, but content. It was a season for me to heal, learn to be alone, and serve the church. In 2018, I was accepted to the Inpatient Flow Academy, a year long program that helps participants to develop the skills to improve hospital patient flow. That was the project that led me to Del.
