Our love story began back in late December of 2010, when we met and immediately thought, “You seem like someone I could make questionable life decisions with.” From our first date a Starbuck on Christmas Eve until today, it's been a wild ride. Apparently that feeling was mutual, because by 2011 we became an instant family first with Juriel and Yliana and then welcomed our baby Owen. Nothing says “romance” like sleepless nights, parenting a newborn, teenager and 5 year old and a cross country move. Our full-scale chaos operation. Our house now functions as a 24/7 snack bar, taxi service, sports logistics center, and occasional yelling arena. In the years since, we’ve survived: raising multiple kids, endless sports practices and sporting events, deep losses, last-minute school projects and so many more things. At some point between all the chaos, carpools, and trying to remember everyone’s schedule, we realized something surprising: We actually still like each other, most days. So after 16 years, several kids, thousands of snacks, and approximately a million loads of laundry, we figured it was finally time to get married. Not because we had to… But because if we can survive parenting together, marriage should be the easy part. Thanks for being here to celebrate our love, our family, and the fact that somehow—against all odds—we’re still doing this together.
