Story of us, in a nutshell

It started with right swipe, turned into a happy marriage!

It all started on Bumble in February 2021. We messaged back and forth for a few days before deciding to meet in person—and our first date just so happened to be on Valentine’s Day, in Wynwood, Miami. What we thought would be a short first date but it turned into a 10-hour-long first date! From the very beginning, there was an instant connection—no awkward moments, just genuine laughter, deep conversation, and the feeling that we had known each other for much longer. We quickly discovered how much we had in common—similar values, family backgrounds, career paths, habits, and even beliefs. Just a few weeks after that unforgettable first date, Watcharee told Gregory, “I love you.” Thankfully, the feeling was mutual—Gregory said it right back and asked her to be his girlfriend on February 27, 2021. Our relationship has always felt natural and grounded. We believe communication is the foundation of any strong relationship, and we’ve prioritized that from day one. Over time, we visited each other’s families—Gregory met Watcharee’s parents when they flew in from Thailand, and he even asked them for their blessing. On July 8, 2022, the same day we picked up our first furbaby, Kuma, Gregory completely surprised Watcharee with a proposal. During a family dinner, he brought out a tray of oysters (something he usually opened himself), and inside a glittery pink oyster shell was a family heirloom ring. He got down on one knee, and of course—she said yes! We eloped quietly at Portland City Hall in Maine on July 14, 2022, and since then, life has been an adventure. We lived in New Orleans for a year before settling down in North Conway, New Hampshire—where we added another furbaby, Mochi, to our little family. At the time of our engagement, we didn’t have the means to plan the wedding of our dreams. So we waited, and now—after a few beautiful years together—we’re excited to finally celebrate with all of you on October 11, 2025, at Sunday River Resort in Maine. We can’t wait to share this special moment with the people we love most. Thank you for being part of our story.
