FAQ

Question

Where should I travel into?

Answer

Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)—it’s only about 35 miles away from Park City. From there, you can hop in a rental car, catch a shuttle, or ride-share your way into the mountains. It’s just a quick 35-40 minute drive along the scenic I-80 East, and before you know it, you’ll be celebrating with us!

Question

When do wedding festivities start?

Answer

The celebration kicks off Saturday night with a Welcome Party at The Bridge in Downtown Park City. The main event—our Ceremony, followed by the Reception—will take place on Sunday, the 17th, in the early evening. Get ready for a weekend full of Park City Fun!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How do I get to and from town in Park City?

Answer

No need to worry —Park City makes getting around easy! Both the Chateaux Park City and the Stein Eriksen Lodge offer complimentary shuttles to whisk you to and from Main Street and other nearby spots. Just check with the front desk for details! Prefer to explore on your own? Park City has a fantastic free bus system that runs all around town (yes, free!). The buses are easy to spot, run frequently, and cover everything from Main Street to ski resorts and beyond. There is a stop right across the street from the Chateaux- feel free to download the MyStop mobile app or maps at the stops for routes and schedules. For shorter trips, it’s also super easy (and lovely!) to walk around town, especially in the Main Street area with its charming shops and restaurants. And if you're looking for a more direct ride, Ubers and Lyfts are readily available and a convenient option to get where you need to go. Between walking, shuttles, buses, and ride-shares, you’ll be set to enjoy every moment!

Question

Anything specific I should pack?

Answer

Park City weather can shift quickly, so it’s best to dress in layers. Pack lightweight clothing for warm daytime temps, but also bring a jacket or sweater for the evenings. Don’t forget comfortable walking shoes or hiking shoes if you plan to hike, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection during the day.
