Adam has been friends with Ryan since they were 11, playing baseball for the Mokena Blaze. Taylor has been besties with Madi since their Eastern Illinois University days. When Ryan and Madi hosted their daughter’s baptism party, they decided we had to meet. Ryan wasn’t totally sold on the idea, but luckily, Madi won the debate, and thank god she did. We met that day, hit it off right away, and by the following Friday, we were on our first date in Chicago. Tacos, margaritas, and over 6 hours of easy conversation later, we both knew this was something special. A year later, we moved into an apartment together just a few blocks from our first date at Cruz Blanca! Fast forward to today: we’re heading back to Cruz Blanca for our rehearsal dinner, surrounded by our wedding party (yes, Ryan and Madi made the list). A full-circle moment: the same spot, same people, and an even bigger reason to celebrate.
