We are excited to share our love story with you, a journey that began through a lovely twist of fate. It all started with my friend, Jake’s younger sister Cheyenne. We've known each other since we were 13, but it wasn’t until 11 years later that I mustered the courage to reach out to Jake. Thanks to Cheyenne’s gentle encouragement, our paths finally crossed. Our first date was nothing short of eventful. He made me dinner with a side of his homemade ranch, but I’ll never forget the night Jake hurt his back. We ventured to Walgreens, where I jokingly suggested he should use a cane. To my surprise, he agreed! As I snapped a picture of him posing like a pro, I realized—this was LOVE. His playful eye-rolls and laughter in response to my antics made my heart swell. I knew I had found someone who truly appreciated my fun-loving spirit. As we explored the city together, diving into countless restaurants and sharing our passion for films, our bond deepened over cheesy macaroni—a staple of our relationship! We’ve spent countless evenings tucked into the couch, cheering for our favorite teams, and sharing the joys of life side by side. The moment Jake proposed was equally special. After a delightful dinner, we strolled by the Mississippi River. It was then he got down on one knee, and I knew this was just the beginning of our journey. 11 years of knowing each other, but the connection only really sparked later on.
