The dress code is black-tie optional. This means that suits/dress pants and long dresses are preferred.
We are registered at Zola, Crate & Barrel, and Target. On the Target registry, there are also gifts from other websites at the bottom. You can find our registries by going to the registry section of our website.
Unfortunately, our guest list and budget mean that we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
There is more than enough parking available at the venue. There is a paved lot and an overflow unpaved lot right next to it!
Take exit 487 from I-35 S/US-77 S and follow the road until you reach the venue. It's on the south side of the road. In true Texas style, there will be longhorns to welcome you!
Texas summers are known for the heat so prepare for warm weather! The good news is that both our ceremony and reception will take place inside so the weather shouldn't impact much of the big day.
We are planning on having a full meal (consisting of the delicious Babe's Chicken Dinner House - a DFW staple!) with a grazing table and desserts. There will even be a special surprise treat later in the night so you definitely won't leave hungry. If you have a special dietary need, please let us know in advance so we can have that prepared for you!
Phones will not be allowed during the wedding ceremony. We want to experience the day fully with you! After the ceremony, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #warthanwedding so we can keep track of all of your lovely pictures!
Because of the craziness of passports nowadays, Madeline will not be changing her last name to Warthan until early October so their honeymoon isn't affected by a missing passport. She will be Mrs. Elliott until then!
