Sarah and Maddie met and trauma bonded during their first semester of nursing school at Emory University. A group chat previously devoted to "studying" evolved into planning pool days in Atlanta, and eventually group getaways once the nurses scattered across the country. Maddie joins us from Atlanta where she currently lives with her husband George and bb Fern!

Maddie and Sarah first met when Alex had the bold idea of inviting Sarah to an out of state family reunion 2 months after they started dating. Both of the siblings were understandably skeptical, but Sarah won them over quickly with her yard game skills and secret puzzle prowess. Maddie joins us from Athens, GA where she lives with her adorable pup Mazzy and Kittles the cat.

The other half of "Sarah-dise"! The Sarahs met after joining the same sorority in college at the University of Richmond. Also a member of the Royal Fam (see below), these two quickly bonded over balancing life as science majors and princesses. When Sarah and Sarah became roommates during junior year, their room was quickly dubbed "Sarah-dise", complete with its own snack/beverage cooler. A true Richmond girl, Sarah joins us from her home in Powhatan, VA where she lives with her husband Ethan and daughters Maddie and Olivia.
Shannon Snyder

Sarah and Shannon met and trauma bonded during their first semester of nursing school at Emory University. Also a group chat veteran, these two continued trauma bonding through the cold, gray and rainy months of life in the pacific northwest where they took their first jobs as nurse practitioners. Shannon joins us from sunny San Diego, where she fled with her soon to be husband Alan, after having enough PNW gloom to last a lifetime.
Grace Bernier

Sarah and Grace met after joining the same sorority in college at University of Richmond, and living out their princess destinies as members of the Royal Fam. After graduation, Sarah missed Grace so much she joined her for post grad life in Atlanta, and then spent a few years apart before following her again to the Big Apple. Grace was responsible for the liquid courage that helped Sarah exchange numbers with Alex and set up their first date!
Jack Zerkel

The brother of the groom. When Jack is not hosting trivia, managing a band, or running IT operations for a medical software company, he's waking up early to watch Manchester City play or participating in one of many intramural sports leagues.
Jake Gellerman

Alex and Jake met in 2016 during their NFL careers (PRing, not playing) and have remained close friends ever since -- so close they live just one block from each other. Aside from Sarah, Alex has likely gone on more dates with Jake than anyone else in his life.
Sam Drexler

Alex and Sam met in 2017 while working at the NFL offices and quickly bonded over deep and vast knowledges of their mediocre sports teams. A lover of cats, dogs, and good coffee and a newly-diagnosed golf addict, Sam has offered his services "to do anything possible to make this the best wedding ever."
Jeff Weidemeyer

Jeff, Alex Bergeron, and Alex Z. became unknowing roommates in Philadelphia in 2012 -- with both Alex and Jeff convinced that the landlord had confused his story. It seemed totally impossible that two UGA grads who were both interning for the Eagles could be moving into the same place without knowing each other -- but that was very much the case. Jeff comes to us via San Jose, CA, and is ready to take on anyone in a silly yard game.

Berge (as he is affectionately known in a two-Alex household), Jeff, and Alex Z. became unknowing roommates in Philadelphia in 2012 -- all moving into a house completely sight unseen and wishing for the best. Thirteen years later and bonded through the fire of Manayunk, PA, the group chat lives on. Alex arrives via Austin, TX, where he resides with his wife, Erika, and three beautiful kids.
Brenden Lee

Alex and Brenden met as interns with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012 and became fast friends, despite the team going 4-12 that year. A diehard Philadelphia sports fan, it's likely Brenden will be looking for and/or screaming at a Phillies game come early October. When he's not doing that, he's very much expected to be a presence on the dance floor with his legendary moves.

Alex's Uncle Ryan has been a major part of their family's lives for decades and we couldn't be more excited to have him be in the middle of our big day! Ryan, his wife Blythe, and kids Casey and Aaron join us from Chicago.
