Believe it or not, Katelynn and John have known each other for over 20 years. It all started after Katelynn settled down in Medfield for 3rd grade after moving from Nantucket. Unlike many of these stories it was NOT love at first sight! While the two of them were friendly growing up and even were on the same Winter Track Team, it would take until they were 24 to for sparks to finally fly. On a serendipitous night in late May of 2014 friends of both John and Katelynn were meeting up at West End Johnny’s where they rekindled their friendship. After this fateful night Katelynn would soon be off to work on Nantucket, but they remained in close contact until she returned later that year. Upon her return was their first official date at the Mead Hall in Cambridge, and the rest is history. Since being together John and Katelynn have gone on many adventures such as snowmobiling on a glacier in Iceland, sunbathing in Miami, skiing in Mont Tremblant and boogie boarding in Nantucket. Their most recent adventure was to the top of Whistler where John proposed! We cannot wait to see where the road takes us next and looking forward to seeing everyone in North Truro for the wedding!
