We officially met and truly spent time together on September 16, 2022, at a PhaseOne concert at The Hi-Fi in Fountain Square. We had briefly met before, so when we saw each other at the concert, we recognized a familiar face and reconnected. We caught up, danced, laughed, and had fun together all night. After the concert, we went out downtown Indianapolis with friends and continued having a great time. As the night was winding down, Michael asked Xandra if she wanted to come back to his apartment building to go up to the rooftop, which had an amazing view of the city. That is when we discovered we lived just two minutes from each other. We ended up talking on that rooftop for what felt like hours about our families, our goals, and even marriage. We both agreed that life moves fast, but if something is meant to happen, it will. Before we knew it, it was nearly 3:00 a.m., and we decided it was time to call it a night. Michael walked Xandra to her car, and we hugged, not knowing if we would ever see each other again after such a special night. Less than ten minutes after Xandra got home, Michael messaged her asking when he would see her next. She replied, “Whenever you ask me to hang out.” We spent time together the very next day, and the rest was history. We felt an immediate connection. It felt like we had known each other for years. On October 13, 2022, at a concert in Indianapolis, Xandra asked Michael to be her boyfriend. Since then, we have spent our time growing together, supporting one another, and becoming the best versions of ourselves. Our bond is unbreakable, and our love truly fills a room. On December 24, 2025, Michael asked Xandra to marry him, and that day marked the beginning of forever.
