How We Met

We met at the pool. My daughter, Chloe, kept splashing David, despite me telling her that you can't splash strangers in a pool. He said that everyone is fair game in a pool and that she can splash whoever. Chloe listened to David instead, and now here we are...planning a wedding.

The Proposal

He handed me a Ring Pop

Every year, me, my daughter, mom, and sister go to the Polar Express in our matching Christmas pajamas. This past year, my sister brought her husband, and I brought David. I ordered the 6 of us matching Christmas pajamas that said, "You serious, Clark?" from my favorite Christmas movie. We boarded the train and had a great time on the way to the North Pole to see Santa. When we made it back to the station, I was a little surprised that David asked my sister and her husband to take a picture of us, because we already had some done by a photographer, but I didn't think much of it. After we took the picture, I turned to get my stuff, turned back around to get off the train, and there was David, down on one knee...with a ring pop. Apparently my ring hadn't come in yet, but he wanted to propose with all of my family there, so he used a Ring Pop and put it in a ring box. Chloe grabbed the ring pop practically as soon as he took it out, so I was a little confused,at first, but of course I said yes to marrying my best friend. I did get my real ring, in case anyone is wondering.

For all the days along the way
