Question

Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

Our event will be held at the "Silver Spring Civic Center," a gorgeous building in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, MD.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is no parking at the venue, but there are several parking garages within walking distance. Our recommendation would be to park in the Town Square Garage at 786 Ellsworth Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20910 or at Wayne Avenue Garage at 921 Wayne Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Question

What time should I arrive by?

Answer

Please arrive at 6pm. Even though Pakistani culture does not follow a strict timetable all the time, we hope to start our event at 6pm and we’ll open doors by 5:45pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see you dressed in your best Desi formal, Egyptian formal, or American formal attire. Please avoid wearing white since Wareesha will be wearing a white dress.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding and prayers for our future is all that we wish for. If you would like to give a gift, we would be grateful for a small donation towards our future house and travels!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please let us know about your dietary restrictions on the RSVP card.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Since Hesham and Wareesha do not drink alcohol they will not be serving any alcohol at the reception. However there will be lots of other refreshments for your enjoyment!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see you all capture our big day. You can add your photos to our website at http: tinyurl.com/meetthehassaneins. When posting any photos on social media, please use our hashtag #MeetTheHassaneins

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Silver Spring?

Answer

Silver Spring is a wonderful city with tons of things to do. Check out the "Things to Do" section of the website for ideas of activities in downtown Silver Spring specifically. You can also take the metro from downtown Silver Spring to Washington DC since this area is located minutes away from the capital.
