Technically, yes, but to us our life together officially begins once we celebrate with friends and family. Before the MLS Cup, this was our original plan.
Richard's mother and step-dad moved to Whidbey years ago and has been a second home since. Once Emily visited, she also fell in love with the serene beauty and sheer quiet of the island. Richard feels close to his mother who has passed when he visits, as it was one of her favorite places. Plus, the people on the island are friendly and welcoming.
