The cdc just announced to cancel weddings >50 people for the next 8 weeks. Our wedding is a little over 9 weeks away. At this time we are holding course with our wedding as planned and will wait and see how things shake out in the coming weeks.
We have been following the progress of coronavirus in Montana very closely over the last few weeks. In the previous weeks it had been projected the virus would peak around April 26th, but with the social distancing taking effect it is now projected to peak around April 13th!!! https://covid19.healthdata.org/ This website is following projections for the US as a whole and each individual states if you want to take a look as well. Therefore, we are still hoping to go forward with our wedding as planned at this point! Yay! Your health and safety is the most important to us though so please let us know if you do not feel comfortable coming anymore. Also, the venue has been so kind as to provide a live streaming of our ceremony for those unable to attend. Side note: the Hampton Inn & Suites however has closed it's doors until June 1st. They are not sure if this will stay in effect or not but to be on the safe side please use our blocked rooms at the Homewood suites or airbnb instead!
Alright everyone this is what we were all expecting, but hoping wouldn't be true. We have decided to postpone our wedding and reception to next May. The new date is May 29th, 2021. We will be sending out official "change the date" cards for you guys to keep, but feel free to RSVP anytime in the next year. Love you all and thank you for all your support <3
