What if I don't really like the outdoors and camping?

Answer

There a few hotels nearby. There is also a few AirBnB options available (all listed on the travel page) We can also provide a DD if needed on the night of the reception :-)

Pulled Pork & Pork BBQ Herb Roasted Chicken Poutine Glazed carrots and Green Beans Dessert: Cupcakes S'Mores by the campfire

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nothing fancy - wear whatever you're comfortable in! Ladies - keep footware in mind - the camp is dirt road and grass.

Where do I get food for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

There is a local Giant food (360 S. 2nd Street, McConnellsburg, Pa, 17233) store 10 miles from Camp to get any groceries you may need for the weekend once you arrive. The dining hall can provide food storage and cooking capabilities (full kitchen). There is a common shared walk in refrigerator and freezer if needed. There is also a fridge/freezer and stove in individual cabins. There are also a few local restaurants 5 -10 miles from camp you can visit: ~ The New Fort Restaurant ~ Lincoln Way Pizza ~ Mammas Pizza and Italian Fare ~ The Lodge ~ The Shak Beer and Liquor Stores are listed below: Hustontown Beverage: 8933 Waterfall Rd, Hustontown, PA 17229 Clevengers Beverage Connection: 237 Lincoln Way W, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233 Fine Wine & Spirits: Ayr, 362 S 2nd St, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233

What should I bring if Im staying the weekend?

Answer

Here is a list of things that you might want to bring along if you're staying for the weekend: Outdoor camp chair Bath / Beach Towel Bathing Suit Toiletries (Shampoo, Toothpaste, Soap, etc...) Pillow Sleeping Bag Mud Boots/ Rain Coat Flashlight Bug Spray Sunscreen If you're flying and don't want to pack all this - there is a local Dollar General and Giant Food Store that will have travel accessories.
