Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love all of our friend's and family's children! However, due to space we cannot accommodate guests under the age 21 on our wedding day. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Is it okay to take pictures w/ our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We hired 2 amazing photographers to capture all special moments. However, you are more than welcome to bring out your cameras and phones during the reception!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 20-30 minutes before our 1:00 PM ceremony time. This gives you and us enough time to be on schedule. If you are late and the wedding has started, we ask that you stand in the back until the ceremony is finished and then join us at the reception. Please plan ahead for Chicago traffic!

Is there parking at the ceremony?

St. Alphonsus has its own parking lot directly behind the church, as well as parking on the side of the building that is part of the church, if needed.

Where do I park at the reception?

Answer

The Highland Loft has nearly 2,000 parking spots in free public parking as close as just a half block away. Our #1 priority is having our guests avoid unsafe situations. If you are planning on drinking, please utilize the free hotel shuttle or any ride share services (Uber, Lyft).

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will provide a full open bar with a variety of spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red and white wine. We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options and coffee.
