Emma and Brady’s story began in July 2021 at East Tennessee State University, thanks to a few mutual friends and a night out at their favorite college bar. What was supposed to be a casual introduction quickly turned into something neither of them expected. After that night, they spent every single day together for weeks — the kind of beginning that feels effortless, a little wild, and completely right! Emma joked with her friends that she had to be careful not to accidentally say “I love you” first when they would go out… but Brady beat her to it, only a few feet away from where they first met. From there, things moved quickly in the sweetest way. The very next day, they had a whole lineup of activities planned, and Emma was convinced Brady would officially ask her to be his girlfriend. They went to a winery, laughed, talked, and soaked up the day — but left with no new titles. Emma texted her friends dramatically convinced it was never going to happen. On the way to dinner, she finally confronted him — because saying “I love you” but not dating was, understandably, a little strange. Brady confessed he had planned to ask at the winery, but an older couple crashed their date and he couldn’t find the right moment. They laughed and made it official right then and there. From that day on, they were inseparable. Their journey has taken them across state lines, through law school and graduate school, through new cities, new jobs, and new chapters. They’ve grown as individuals and as a couple, always choosing each other through every twist and turn.
