Things To Do

We are so excited to party with you all on Friday night, but why not make it a weekend trip? Here are some of our favorite things to do and see here in Columbus (apart from cheering on the Buckeyes on Saturdays in the fall).
Center of Science and Industry (COSI)

Center of Science and Industry (COSI)

333 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215
, (614) 228-2674

COSI, officially the Center of Science and Industry, is a science museum and research center in Columbus, Ohio (very close to our venue)! We always learn something new each time we visit. This museum has countless interactive exhibits that are fun for both adults and kids!

Scioto Mile Fountain

Scioto Mile Fountain

233 Civic Center Drive, Columbus, OH 43215

The Scioto Mile Fountain is the centerpiece of Bicentennial Park. The stunning 15,000-square-foot fountain has more than 1,000 jets of water that take on a multitude of forms and shapes. At night, the fountain viewing experience is enhanced by unique lighting and fog effects.

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

4850 West Powell Road, Powell, OH 43065
, (614) 645-3400

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a non-profit zoo located near Powell, Ohio, north of the city of Columbus. They offer tons of fun attractions for the whole family, including friendly fall and Halloween themes in October.

Short North Arts District

Short North Arts District

Columbus, OH

The Short North Arts District sits along the stretch of High Street between downtown and Ohio State’s campus and is signified by the 17 lighted arches that line the main thoroughfare. At its heart, the Short North is an arts neighborhood, as evidenced by the many murals along the sides of the buildings. Beyond that, it’s a hub of activity offering more than 100 restaurants, galleries and boutiques and booming with new mixed-use and residential development.

Gateway Film Center

Gateway Film Center

1550 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43201
, (614) 259-7182

Located in the Short North Arts District, Gateway Theater is a lively, modern space for a variety of movies & film-related events, plus an undersea-themed bar. Classics, throwback children's movies, and new films are all on the list of shows to enjoy at this unique theater!

North Market Downtown

North Market Downtown

59 Spruce Street, Columbus, OH 43215
, (614) 463-9664

North Market is a 145-year-old vibrant public market made up of Ohio’s best independent merchants, farmers, and makers. Some of the best food in Columbus is located right here (we personally love Hot Chicken Takeover and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams).

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1777 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203
, (614) 715-8000

A horticultural and educational institution showcasing exotic plant collections, special exhibitions, and Dale Chihuly artworks. Perfect for some indoor appreciation of unique plants during the colder autumn months.

Columbus Park of Roses

Columbus Park of Roses

3901 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214
, (614) 645-3391

A unique public garden in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Park of Roses is one of the largest public rose gardens in the U.S. with more than 12,000 rose specimens. We love take a stroll to see the flowers in the spring and autumn colors in the fall here!

The Book Loft of German Village

The Book Loft of German Village

631 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43206
, (614) 464-1774

One of the nation’s largest independent book stores, The Book Loft of German Village, is located just a few blocks South of the state capitol building. The pre-Civil War era buildings that once were general stores, a saloon and a nickelodeon cinema, now are home to 32 rooms of Bargain Books. It is tons of fun to browse and easy to spend hours looking for hidden gems here!

Easton Town Center

Easton Town Center

Columbus, OH 43219
, (614) 337-2200

Easton is Columbus' premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination featuring pedestrian-friendly open-air town squares, fountains, and parks. Easton is perfect for a day trip (especially away from Ohio State football fans every Saturday...) and is only twenty minutes from downtown.
