Alex and Lindsay met at Miami of Ohio during Lindsay's first year of college. Alex was coaching the Women's Club Water Polo Team when Lindsay joined. Lindsay gave Alex plenty of shit about not wanting to swim or kick, but over time Lindsay developed a HUGE crush on Alex and would tell just about anyone who would listen. Then during Lindsay's sophomore year, Alex's senior, Lindsay was out with her roomie, Caitlyn, at Pitchers at 45 when Alex and his buddy came up to them. That is when Alex asked for Lindsay's number and the rest was history. Lindsay and Alex made it through college spending summers apart and school years together. Once they graduated from Miami University, the couple soon headed down to Carbondale, IL so Lindsay could attend law school. While in Carbondale, Alex and Lindsay met the love of their life -- Chloe, their dog -- who, alongside Alex, made it possible for Lindsay to graduate law school. Alex and Lindsay purchased their home in May 2021, and the couple now lives in Effingham, IL. Lindsay works at a private law firm and as the Public Defender of Jasper County and Alex is the pool manager and the coach of the swim team where he is working on developing a water polo program. They have been creating an amazing life together and cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings (hopefully another dog).
