This has been our most common question so far and I have not been very helpful answering it. We honestly don’t care, if you want to show up dressed like the grinch who stole Christmas then we are just happy you could make it! Rob and I are going to both be dressed in a suit and a formal dress, but we mostly want to remind everyone that we want you to be comfortable! It’s going to be windy and it’s October, so wear a layer or two! Wear comfy shoes if you want (I definitely am) or wear that outfit that’s in the back of the closet that you want an excuse to wear. We are happy to celebrate with you!
This is the most important one! Christie Frush and her housemate Fae have so graciously allowed us to use their rooftop. Honestly Incredible. The address is: 400 Bedford Avenue. There is a buzzer on the front door where you can scroll to apartment 3A and someone can buzz you up! In the elevator the button R is for the roof and needs to be pressed multiple times and firmly to get the button to work. The bathroom is going to be in their apartment. The dog’s name is peanut! He might bark at you, but he is a friendly fellow. Please make sure to thank Christie and Fae!
Please call: Rob: 347-221-6335 Sarah: 215-262-4412 Terri (Sarah’s Mom): 215-962-5693 Jessica (Rob’s Sister): 718-200-5627
The Ceremony is going to start at 1:00 pm so if you could all get there at least 10 minutes before then that would be excellent!
We will have some snacks and food provided by our parents, no idea what they have up their sleeves, and a cake (provided by chef Spencer)! And then we will be ordering a shit ton of pizzas around 5:30 PM. I think I know everyone’s dietary restrictions and will do our best to make sure that everyone has something to eat! If you are worried that we might forget your dietary restrictions, please send one of us a text just to confirm.
Yes! We would love for everyone to just come ready to celebrate! There is no need to bring anything, but if by chance you have a camping chair in a closet somewhere, we do have a chair shortage. BYO-Chair?
No, we aren’t registered anywhere. We also aren’t expecting gifts! We know that a lot of you had to make accommodations for our last minute chaos and that is gift enough. We are so excited to celebrate with you all so please don’t worry about it! Also, we have pretty much everything we need for our apartment, but if you want to send us a little something just text me for our address. If you would prefer, Rob and I love to travel, so if you really wanted to give us something you can feel free to send us something towards our future trip fund and I will put it in its own account and we can plan our next adventure.
It’s street parking or you can look up a garage on spot hero. If you book on spot hero in advance sometimes you can get deals.
Rob and I were planning to get legally married on the 22nd with a few close friends, but then decided a last minute rager with all of you sounded like way more fun. So here we are!
If you are reading this FAQ, then you know us pretty well, so this whole event is actually not that surprising. There’s no story! The story is that we were sitting around one day joking about how we were never actually going to get married because we couldn’t afford to throw a huge traditional party and because we’re not great planners. The more we joked about it, the more we realized a lot of the things that came with a traditional wedding we didn’t care about. We just cared about each other, and the rest is just details.
Yes! But if someone shouts, “I OBJECT!” It’s Lindsey and she’s kidding.
