Question

Is there free parking?

Answer

For those coming and going the night of the wedding, not staying over, they can grab a parking chaser ticket right off of the bars. They can either self-park in the Cambridgeside Galleria Garage on level G3 (there is an entrance just passed our courtyard or around the corner near the Cheesecake Factory) or they can valet. The complimentary parking voucher will apply to either option. For guests staying overnight, the current overnight parking fee is $30 but subject to change

What is a chaser ticket for parking?

Answer

The complimentary parking vouchers act as chaser tickets for garage parking. Therefore if your guests self-park in the garage, the garage will give them a ticket to keep when they enter. Then when they’re at the wedding, we will have vouchers called chaser tickets that will be available for people to take as well. When they leave the garage that evening, they will first put in the ticket that they received from the garage upon entry, and then the chaser voucher that they got at the wedding. This will ensure they get $0.00 parking. Please note guests can also use free valet parking.

Are children invited?

Answer

The reception will be ADULTS ONLY with the exception of the kids in the wedding party. No other exceptions. We know this can be inconvenient for some guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Am I allowed to take photos/videos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely no pictures or video during the ceremony. This will be an unplugged ceremony. We have a photographer and videographer and are happy to share pics with you! We want our guests to be in the moment and we want to see your faces in our pictures, not your phones. The reception is a different story. Take all the pics you want at the reception and be sure to send them to us! If you post on social media, please use #NascimenToBe

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We sent out invitations. We are asking guests to RSVP no later than September 19th, 2024. Please note that the room block rate will only be available through September 18th, 2024.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. Please no fully white, off white, cream, or beige dresses. We would also appreciate no long black dresses as that is what the bridesmaids are wearing.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please let us know of any food allergies or food restrictions ahead of time. We will accommodate allergies or restrictions. There will also be a vegetarian meal option. We are unable to accommodate preferences.

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The unplugged ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at The Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge, MA. We chose the Kimpton Marlowe because the name of the ballroom where the reception will take place is Serrano Ballroom. Mami Ville’s maiden name was Serrano (Wandy’s paternal grandmother). I felt like she chose the venue for me. ❤️

Yes! Our wedding guest rate is available for Friday and Saturday night at $359 per night and is available through September 18th, 2024. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Our cocktail hour will be open bar. There will be a champagne toast. The rest of the night is cash bar.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Not taking pictures during the ceremony is the next greatest gift! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. We are registered through Zola. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Will there be a wedding hashtag?

Of course! #NascimenToBe Get it? Cause his last name is Nascimento and we're meant to be? lol we know we're so corny but you love it.

What health and safety measures will be in place?

Answer

We are happy to be living in our new normal. For this reason, masks and vaccines are not mandatory. We respect everyone's choice to wear or not wear a mask. We do ask that you please stay home if you are feeling sick or have tested positive for flu, covid, RSV, or any other contagious virus.

Will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Yes, updates will be posted here as they come. The main thing we want to be sure everyone knows is that we are very serious about no pictures or videos during the ceremony. We want the photographer and videographer we paid for to get the most amazing pictures with peoples faces NOT their phones.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:30. Guests are asked to please arrive 30 minutes early (5pm). Any guest that arrives during the processional will be asked to wait until after the bride gets to the altar. I know that it's a common stereotype that brides are always late...but if you know Wandy you know that will absolutely not be the case ESPECIALLY not with her dad in her ear telling her she's running late 3 hours before the ceremony. Lol if you know you know. So please be on time!

What happens after the ceremony

Answer

After the unplugged ceremony, guests can head straight to the cocktail area, where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages during a cocktail hour. After cocktail hour, guests will be directed to the reception hall

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding. We also included where the closest pharmacy, gas station, and grocery store are.

Please feel free to call or text either one of us with any questions. On the actual wedding day we do ask that you try to avoid calling or messaging us as every minute of the day is scheduled. Instead please reach out to parents of the bride (Wanda and Fransisco Santiago), mother of the groom (Maria Nascimento), Best man (Justin Maldonado), maid of honor (Sheila Gonzalez), or any of the groomsmen or bridesmaids.
