FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is desert formal. It will be hot during the day, but a little chilly at night. A dress, suit, or jumpsuit will all work. We recommend light fabrics and colors as the New Mexico sun is very hot. You will be walking on grass so women should have a chunky heel or wedge if they plan to wear heels. WEAR SUNSCREEN!

Question

Do I have to take the wedding shuttle?

Answer

No, there is parking available at the venue, but if you don't have a car in New Mexico or you plan to drink you may want to take advantage of them. The venue is about 45 minutes outside Santa Fe so cabs/ubers/lifts are non-existent or expensive. *Please check out the driving instructions under the 'Travel' tab if you plan to drive to the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is primarily an adult event as the cliffside venue is not well suited for young children. If you received a family invitation feel free to bring your kids (this will also be clear when you RSVP), or get a babysitter and take the night off!

Question

COVID-19

Answer

We ask that any guest who is not yet fully vaccinated to please make every effort to keep yourself and our other guests safe by following CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. Thank you for taking these additional steps to protect the health of our loved ones, we know it comes at additional inconvenience and we are deeply grateful. That being said, the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The bride and groom will not be wearing masks but please feel free to wear a mask if you are more comfortable doing so. Stay safe and healthy!

Question

Can we camp or stay in our RV at the ranch?

Answer

There is no overnight RV parking or camping at the ranch. However, both the Villanueva State Park and KOA campsites are within 15-20 minutes from the ranch. If there is significant interest in this option let us know and we may be able to arrange for the busses to stop here as well.
