We were introduced by two members of our bridal party, Jake Windsor and Kelsi Windsor. Ironically enough, Mike and Jake grew up playing baseball together on the Eastern Shore and Dani and Kelsi grew up playing softball together on the Western Shore. Through the course of time, Kelsi and Dani both ended up moving to the Eastern Shore where they met Jake and Mike. Jake and Kelsi married in February, 2015 and later that year invited us on a double date. Even though we enjoyed the date, we realized the timing wasn't quite right. However, when we unexpectedly ran into each other two years later, it was love at second sight and that's where our story began!

Mike proposed while we were vacationing in Punta Cana in January, 2019. While we were on the beach, Mike went up to our room to "use the bathroom" but was really leaving me a trail of love notes to find later on. When we got back to the room that afternoon, I found the notes and was busy reading while Mike got down on one knee behind me. When I turned around, I immediately began crying and Mike asked if I would spend the rest of my life with him. My first response, "did you ask my dad?" was quickly followed by "of course!" and we spent the rest of the week celebrating in paradise.
