FAQs

We have compiled answers to some popular questions. If you are curious about anything else regarding our wedding day, please don’t hesitate to ask the bride & groom. (Realistically, just ask the bride).
Question

What time should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm, so we ask that our guests arrive no later than 3:45 pm. This will give you time to park and find a seat at the ceremony space.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Although we are hosting a “backyard wedding”, we will have a cleared section designated for parking.

Question

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (rain or shine). The reception will take place under a large tent.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We absolutely love to see our friends and family all dressed up! Semi-formal and cocktail attire is preferred.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We very carefully created our guest list with our closest friends and family in mind. However, if you would like to bring a special someone that is not named on your invitation, please ask the bride & groom, as there might be some wiggle room. If not, they are more than welcome to join the after party festivities. But please run this by us beforehand.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Being parents ourselves, we especially know how important your children are to you. With that being said, we also know how fun a night off can be. We kindly ask that your children stay home so that you can celebrate with us and enjoy yourselves.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will have food to snack on during cocktail hour, as well as a buffet style dinner provided by our favourite restaurant, The Favourite Greek. There will be options for vegetarians and vegans as well.

Question

What will the bar situation look like?

Answer

Beer, seltzers and soft drinks are on us! These will be set up as a “grab and go” option. We will also provide plenty of wine for the tables. We will have a donation bar as well if you wish to enjoy a mixed drink or a glass of wine following dinner.
