We're Getting Married!

In our first year of college, we were both a part of College Younglife. Brenna was looking for a ride to Younglife's college weekend. Brenna proceeded to reach out to Ryan, especially after noticing he had a picture on Instagram where he was wearing a Maryland shirt. We met in person and walked around Wayne, PA (where our colleges are located), and got to know each other. A few days later, Ryan asked Brenna to go to dinner. Soon after, Ryan said it would be an honor to be Brenna's boyfriend. (He asked while giving Brenna a bouquet of roses).

Ryan surprised Brenna with a trip to California for their 3 year anniversary. On the night of their anniversary, he planned another surprise and all she knew was it was around sunset and involved wine. They walked up Point Dume and picked a spot to sit. Brenna was bothering Ryan about walking up a different way, sitting in a different spot and getting wine glasses. Each time Ryan told Brenna "Just trust me" and claimed he researched ahead of time. They sat in the spot Brenna liked and moved to his spot once people walked away from it. Then, he asked Brenna to stand up and said he had something for her. He said a lot of loving and sweet things and then got down on his knee and popped the question!! (Afterwards, he surprised Brenna again with "Future Mrs. Finch" and "Lucky Mr. Finch" wine glasses for them to use to celebrate.
