Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 14, 2024 to ensure we get our headcount submitted to our caterers on time. If you do not RSVP by September 14, 2024, we will assume you cannot make it and will miss you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm. The doors will be open at 3 pm. We request you arrive by 3:30, which gives you time to sign the guest book and find your seat. Please be seated and settled by 3:45.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are registered for various items, gift cards, and a honeymoon fund. To view our complete registry, please follow the link below. https://www.zola.com/wedding/walterhensonwedding/registry

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our loved ones dressed up! We ask our guests wear cocktail attire, so leave your jeans and T-shirts at home and bring your dancing shoes. Still not sure what to wear? Check out this guide at the link below. https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are invited when invitations are addressed to the family (ie The Smith Family). If allowed a plus one, you may also bring your child.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends. We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on our invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will be on your invite, addressed as “John Doe and Guest”. If the invitation is addressed to only you, then only you are invited at this time. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Question

Do you have a hashtag or digital album?

Answer

We don’t have a hashtag but we do have a digital shared album on Wedding Mix! WeddingMix is making us a FREE app that we can share with you. If you download it onto your phone and take photos or videos during any part of our wedding day, showers, etc, they will compile them for us for our wedding video. The password to log into our wedding is [V2NAV]. Feel free to take videos as much or as little as you want of ANYTHING you want. As much as we'd love to capture all of the "standard" wedding moments, we'd also love you guys to video your ride down, getting ready, any well wishes, etc. Have fun with it!

Question

Where should I enter the building?

Answer

Our venue is located at the corner of Independence St and Main St in Monticello. Please enter through the Main St entrance with the Monarch sign, facing the Monticello Mercantile. There is an accessible entrance through the side door on Independence St. All other attendants should enter through the Main St entrance.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a free parking lot across the street from Monarch on Independence St. There is also free on street parking on or near the building.

Question

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony as we paid for our photographer and videographer to capture it in its entirety. However, there will be a 2 minute time slot where guests will be allowed during the ceremony to pull out their cameras and phones to take your own picture!

Question

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner with multiple entrees and sides, provided by Yoder’s Kitchen in Arthur. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns, please note so on your RSVP.
